If some of your accounting postings are missing, it may be due to a HOLD, FAILURE, OOB, Open Check, or BatchHold. The Accounting Status Report will show you what type of issues you have and where to solve the issue. You can run the Accounting Status report for your entire company, across all locations and resolve issues for each location, one at a time. Shogo recommends running the report report monthly or prior to account reconciliation to ensure all accounting data is posted.
Run the Accounting Status Report:
1.Log into your Shogo account
2.Click on Reports>Accounting Status
3. Select a single or All companies, a date range and specific stores or all stores. Click the blue Search button
4. A list will appear for any dates that have not posted for any reason if you keep all posting status reasons.
Examples of accounting not posting are below:
Holds
A HOLD on your accounting is due to incomplete mapping and will look like the example below on the Accounting Status Report:
Click the Accounting Settings Button, as shown in the screen shot above. This will navigate you to your Accounting Settings.
Map your missing accounting item
Click Here for additional information on mapping your items in Shogo.
*Once you map your missing items, your missing date will post automatically.
UpdateHold
An UpdateHold occurs when Shogo attempts to reload sales or regenerate accounting to update an accounting posting but cannot update the posting because there is a deposit matched to the journal. This only happens in QuickBooks and will look like the example below in the Accounting Status Report:
Please unmatch all bank deposits associated with the original postings and let Shogo know when this is complete. Shogo will repost the updates again.
Please see Intuit's support documentation for more information:

Failures
A FAILURE can occur for multiple reasons but may be due to 1) your accounting system may be missing items that were previously mapped to your Shogo account and were deleted. 2) your accounting system may have had a connection problem. This is commonly caused by changes in your accounting system (such as the deletion of a mapped item),user permissions being changed, passwords changing, or a file path changing.
If you have items that were previously mapped to Shogo and were deleted, please add those items back into your accounting system and refresh your accounting data so you can map the newly added account.
To refresh your reference data, navigate to Settings>Accounting>View Details (if multiple locations exist) Click the blue HERE hyperlink to refresh your reference data. QuickBooks Desktop users will also need to run their web connector to complete this process.
Another reason a posting may fail is due to your accounting system being disconnected from Shogo. Click the Settings>Accounting to reconnect your accounting system or click the Accounting button shown below:
You will receive an automated message asking you to reconnect your accounting system.
*Accounting failures need to be reported to Shogo to regenerate and sync the accounting entry once the root cause is addressed. Click Here to open a request for Shogo to regenerate failed postings.
OOB
An OOB transaction occurs when a payment happens without an order or and order occurs without payment. Shogo needs to be instructed where to apply the amount. For information on resolving OOBs, please Click Here
OpenCheck
An open check will be shown on the Accounting Status Report as shown below:
You can view the specific open check(s)by clicking the Checks Tab:
There are a number of ways to handle open checks. Click Here to see the article to view options on resolving open checks. To do an override and post the open check to an account of your choosing Click Here
BatchHold
A BatchHold occurs when a POS posts the sales but not it's fees. Please view this article on how Shogo handles BatchHolds: Shogo Batch Handling
