Following this guide, we will create a Business Intelligence API account for Shogo to connect to Simphony:
- In Reporting and Analytics, click the side navigation menu, click Administration, click System, click API Accounts, and then click Add API Account.
Client Scope, Authorization Scope
Client Scope: CLOUD
Authorization Scope: All (or specific locations)
Enterprise Location or Level
If you selected Business Intelligence API, select the locations or levels for which the API returns data.
Data Access Permissions
Select all permissions
A unique Client ID and Authentication Server value is generated for the API account.
Copy the Client ID and Authentication Server values and send those to email@example.com
The API account user (Shogo) receives a Welcome email with instructions on how to set the password for the account.
