When cash tip reporting is available from your POS, you may choose to post the tips to your accounting. Shogo's default is to ignore cash tips, meaning cash tips will not be posted to your accounting system. If you would like to post cash tips to your accounting system, please do the following:

Log into your Shogo account at app.shogo.io

Navigate to Settings>Stores>Select the store you would like to edit (if multiple stores are present)

Click on the Preferences tab to view Store preferences

If your POS reports cash tips, you will see the item in the list of preferences. If Cash Tip Handling is not in the list of Store Preferences, your POS provider does not report the data to Shogo and it cannot be posted to your accounting system.

To change how cash tips are reported, click the Edit button and change the dropdown option:

Different options may be available based upon the data that your POS reports:

Click the blue Save button to save the changes to your Store Preferences.

Cash Tips will begin being posted the next day once selected. A new item will also need to be mapped for that location once the data is imported.

If past data must be updated to include the cash tips, please Click Here to submit a request with Shogo Customer Care.
