Shogo allows you to map your segments globally to avoid having to map the items to each line item in your accounting mapping. 

For NetSuite, Xero, and Intacct:

Map your segmentation globally by logging into Shogo at app.shogo.io and navigating to Settings>Accounting

Click on the location you wish to edit

Click on the General Settings Category

Click on the Accounting Options Tab

Edit the Dimension Column you would like to map globally in the Dimension Columns section and click Apply.

Please note-If you make these items mandatory and the detail item is missing for that day, your date will fail to post.

You will see a popup asking if you would like to apply the changes to all mapping items or only those items that are unmapped. If you have items where this segment is mapped differently than what you have just globally defined and want to keep the different segment definition that was previously defined, then click Apply to Unmapped. If you would like to overwrite any previously mapped segments with your newly defined one, click Apply to all.

You will then see a message that a reload is required to make the changes. Click Yes.

The result will be a globally defined segment (in this case, Location is defined for Sales data globally) in the mapping:

If you would like your Inv/COGS or Statistical Journal Entries to be posted with a globally defined segment, turn on "Customize dimensions per posting type" and define the segmentation within that posting type:

You will be asked the same question about applying the newly defined segments to unmapped items or apply to all, as described above.
