How many Users can I have on my Shogo Account?
You can have an unlimited number of users. Shogo does not currently charge by user.
We highly recommend that only the account owner or a single designated user adds and deactivates users. Any Super User or users with Full Access can add or remove a user.
Adding a user
To add a user, navigate to:
Sign into your account and then proceed to
Settings>Users -New User
Fill out the appropriate information for the user. First Name - Last Name - Email - Phone
There are currently three account types. You will need to select the account type from the drop down menu.
Reports Only User: Has access to the Sales, Forecasting and Reports menus. The Reports Only user will NOT have access to settings menu.
The Reports Only user may have Reporting Access to All Stores or Select Stores. To restrict access to specific reports for a user, click Select Stores and choose the Store(s) for the user to receive reports.
Full Access User: Has access to the Sales, Forecasting, Report and Settings menus. They can also Reload and regenerate sales data one day at a time.
Next you will want to select the type of notifications the user receives.
Daily Email: This is a daily email that summarizes the sales from the previous day.
Accounting Notifications: This email is sent when there is an accounting error. The error is usually a mapping issue that will need to be resolved using the Settings Menu.
Once finished entering data and making selections select "Update"
Super User: Every account has a Super User and it is the top level of access for your organization. Super User permissions include all of the Full Access permissions and:
Manage who else is a Super User: Only a Super User can promote another person to Super User, or remove that access. This keeps top-level control of your account in trusted hands. Owners and standard users cannot grant or take away Super User status.
Reload and regenerate sales data in bulk.
Super Users see additional loading and status columns on the sales report that are hidden from other users, which is useful for confirming that everything is synced as expected.
Keep at least one active Super User on the account at all times — they're the only ones who can manage the role for others. If your Super User leaves the company, have them promote a replacement before they go, or contact support to reassign.
Deactivating a user
To deactivate a user simply go to
>Settings>Users - Select User
Once you have selected the user you would like to deactivate, select the red Deactivate button in the bottom right corner of menu box.
