  • Updated
  • Shopify Batch Payout: represents the actual deposit amount that Shopify will deposit to your bank account (net of processing fees)
  • Shopify Charges:  represents the reversal or difference between credit card payments on a given date and the amount of the Shopify Batch Payout
  • Shopify Adjustments: Reflects any refunds or adjustments to previous credit card payments
  • Shopify Fees:  Are the processing fees withheld by Shopify from the Shopify Batch Payout when processing your Shopify Batch Payout
  • Credit Cards: is a summary by credit card type of the order level payments on a given date.

Many customers will map Shopify Charges, Adjustments and the individual Credit Cards to the same clearing or suspense account, as usually, the Shopify charges will equal the Totals from the individual cards from the prior day (thus clearing each other out day over day).

Again, the key number for banking purposes will be the Shopify Batch Payout amount.
