How Do I Create Custom Transaction Numbers?

QuickBooks and Shogo have the ability to create custom transaction numbers.  Transaction numbers are used to count each transaction entered into the QuickBooks File.  Customization of your numbering system allows easier tracking and identification of transactions.  

If you want QuickeBooks to create the transaction IDs for you - please check your settings in QuickBooks:

Edit/Preferences/Accounting/Company Preferences tab

If you choose to Shogo to generate the transaction numbers you will want to use a prefix. This can be anything you want. If you want Shogo to create them:

Please go to:  app.shogo.io
>Settings>Accounting>View Details>General Settings>

Enable: "Custom Transaction Number?" and assign up to a 5 character suffix to the ID that will be YYMMDD#####
