Sales data is loaded into Shogo and transmitted to your accounting file at the end of each day. ShopKeep defines the the business day as the opening date/time and closing date/time of the Shifts in ShopKeep for each ShopKeep register. f a shift is not closed in ShopKeep, the sales data is not made available for Shogo to load. Once the shift is closed in ShopKeep, Shogo can load the sales data for POSTING to your accounting file.
If you have forgotten to close a Shift in the register we recommend waiting to the end of your current business day to close the Shift. Closing the Shift in the middle of a business day can make the reconciliation of credit card processing difficult. This is because credit card processing is a timed process whereas the business day function in ShopKeep is a function of opening and closing the daily Shift in the register.
