Shogo can be set to report sales by Taxable and Non-taxable rather than Category level. The advantage to this is a streamlined entry, but there is a loss to reporting the sales detail.
If you are using Xero or QuickBooks as your accounting system, the most simplified posting is Shogo Express. Click Here to view instructions on switching your account to Shogo Express.
If switching to Shogo Express is not an option due to your accounting system, Shogo has another option. You may change your posting to taxibility if:
- Your current posting type is Journal Entry
- Your location is netting discounts.
If you want your sales reported by Taxability rather than Category, simply Click Here to make a request to the Shogo Support Desk to make the change to Collapse Sales so your reporting can be changed.
