Shogo allows all Full Access users to load/reload sales and regenerate accounting if/as needed. This means that you can login to Shogo and regenerate accounting based on updated mapping, load missing sales, or reload updated sales data from your POS/eCom system as well as regenerate the accounting.
- You will only be able to reload one day at a time.
- You cannot load historical sales with this tool. To request history, please use this link: Request Historical Sales
Here's how it works:
1) Login to Shogo at app.shogo.io
2) Go to the sales summary page for a given location and date. You can access the sales summary page by navigating to
Reports > Sales Totals > Select your Store (if applicable) set date by clicking the same date twice and clicking Apply > Click the Refresh Button > open the date by clicking on the blue highlighted date
Prior to reloading or regenerating, update your POS sales or your Shogo accounting configuration as needed. For example, if there is an open check, you can close the check in the POS and reload the sales for the day. If there are missing mapping items, you will need to map those before regenerating the accounting.
3) In the screenshot below you can see the left 'Calculator' icon will regenerate your accounting. This is typically used if you changed your mapping and now want to regenerate the accounting based on the updated mapping.
You can also repost Failed entries after fixing the error. Clicking the 'Refresh' icon will load/reload sales for that location/date. This is typically used when POS data differs from Shogo data and you want to check for updated data for a specific date. Additionally, you can reload data from your POS to get updated POS sales or post missing entries using the above process.
If the refreshed sales data is different from the previous data, then the accounting will also be automatically regenerated. If there are no changes to the sales data, you will not see any regenerated or updated accounting.
Once you have requested the sales or accounting reposting, the job will go in a queue and you will briefly see a popup to indicate that the job has queued.
You will receive confirmation of your sales reloading or accounting regenerating.
Depending on your POS/eCom system it could take 15-20 minutes for your sales data to reload. It may take up to an hour for the accounting posting to sync to your accounting system. Please note, for QuickBooks Desktop you also need to run the Web Connector or wait until the Web Connector runs to sync your accounting entries.
If you wish to get your daily email resent with the updated numbers, please do the following:
1. Log in to Shogo at app.shogo.io
2. On the 'Sales' tab in Shogo, select the sales date that you are interested in. Only one day can be emailed at a time.
3. Scroll all the way to the bottom right of the screen and click the envelope icon
4. A new daily email will be generated and sent to all users on the account that have the daily email preference enabled.
