Customizing the Memo posted to Accounting System

The Memo can be customized for each location posting to QuickBooks, Sage Intacct, and NetSuite. 

To review and change the memo on accounting postings, please do the following:

1. Log into your account at app.shogo.io 

2. Navigate to Settings>Accounting>View Details(if multiple locations exist)

3. Click on the General Settings Section, located on the right side of the screen

 

4. Select how the memo should be displayed:

Option 1: Use a pre-formatted memo field such as POS + Date, Store + Date or Location:

Option 2: Use the"Custom" option to create a customized memo

 

The following options are available to add to a Custom Memo:

{{date}} = current date, formatted as 2025-09-26

{{posName}} = connected POS shown in Settings>Store for that location

{{storeName}} = name set in Settings>Store for the store location

{{storeCode}} = code set in Settings>Store for the store location

 

Options can be combined to create a more descriptive memo, as shown in the following example:

 

Click the blue Apply button to save changes made on the General Settings section
